Barrier Reef Poster Thumbnails

These 10 thumbnails were drawn with a fineliner pen. The concept remained the same as week 4 - come up with a poster promoting saving the Great Barrier Reef. Metaphors were explored, as well as negative space, image-based design, and cartoons.

Out of the ten thumbnails, my three favourites were 4, 5, and 10. The best design that I chose to pursue is the 10th concept, which visualises a life ring with coral in it. It has curved text following the circular shape that reads 'save the coral reefs'. This design will be refined further in the next step.
